2. Giant Mountain.

Located in Keene Valley, this mountain is one of the highest in the state, and hikers can take advantage of multiple lookout points along the way to the top. The journey to the peak of Giant Mountain typically requires three hours of hiking.

3. Chimney Bluffs State Park.

A 600-acre area, Chimney Bluffs State Park offers multiple hiking routes, including Bluff, Drumlin, and Garner Point trails. Located on the edge of Lake Ontario, the park features incredible views of the water and beaches comprised of colored rocks. The park is free to enter and provides hikers with access to restrooms and picnic areas.
