The ASSP is one of the organizations that exist for EHS and OSH professionals. The organization was founded in 1911, and today has about 37,000 OSH professionals as members. The organization is committed to advancing members’ careers and safety in the workplace. One of its goals is to increase the knowledge of OSH professionals through education.

Primarily the conference is held for educational purposes as the best minds in the OSH industry are usually present to teach courses and give lectures.
